Heather - played the Bagpipes for over 35 years both in band and solo competitions, Pipe Major of Dunoon Grammar School Pipe Band between 1986 and 1991 during which time she met and received a band prize from Princess Diana and played in the presence of the Queen
Mother, Princess Anne, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sir Fitzroy McLean when he was a guest on This is Your Life in the days of Eamonn Andrews. Heather has also taught children to start playing the
chanter which she found very rewarding. Before becoming a Mum, Heather played in Grade 2 pipe bands and now enjoys being part of the wedding industry.
Callum - also played the Bagpipes for over 35 years, both solo and pipe bands.
Whilst playing in Dunoon Grammar School Pipe Band with his sister, Heather he proved to be a strong, committed piper who also played for the Queen Mother and Princes Anne. When a mini-band was
invited to represent Cowal Europe in Holland, Callum rose to the challenge. TV's News Presenter, Angus Simpson joined the Cowal Team and reported on the 10 day event for Scotland Today.
Callum has since played with Stirlingshire Pipe Bands and competed in band competitions
